Robert Half is currently recruiting an experienced stand-alone Payroll officer for a highly regarded and well-respected hospitality company based in the Melbourne CBD Fringe. This role will initially be a three-month temporary assignment however does have the potential to offer permanency if you are successful in the role!

Proven payroll experience within the hospitality sector will be a massive advantage as our client goes through substantial growth.

The successful applicant will be capable of processing timesheets on a fortnightly basis working with complex payroll systems (KeyPay / Employment Hero), non-award and award rates as well as superannuation processing will be an advantage for the successful candidate.

This is a part-time role with static days of Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday.

The Role

Reporting to the HR/Finance Manager, your duties will include:

• High Volume Payroll processing on a bi-weekly and monthly basis
• Adhering to a large amount of award and EBA rates
• Accurate entering of new staff data
• Processing of Salary packaging / entitlements
• Ensure wages and Tax payments are compliant with regulation
• Mentoring and overseeing of the payroll team
• Ad-hoc duties as requested

Your Profile

To be successful you will have proven experience in a similar role, with a minimum of 3 years' experience. The following attributes will also be highly advantageous:

• Confident in high volume payroll
• Previous EBA/SCHADS experience
• Excellent Attention to detail
• Payroll/HRIS systems experience
• Excellent Organisational Skills
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to meet deadlines
• Ability to work in a team

The successful candidate will be immediately available, driven, focused, and dedicated to the company goals while maintaining a high calibre workflow.

This role will on-site working in a fantastic and established office.
