We are an information marketing & media Company that delivers content for the lifestyle market, our clients, are some of the world’s largest Companies who we have worked with us for several decades.
We need to hire a relationship sales manager who knows how to build on relationship with new clients while soliciting additional revenue opportunities.
We have a strong presence in the lifestyle technology market and shortly we will launch a brand new publication Called Scope Residential, aimed at property developers, architects, designers and those involved in building and specifying new houses and apartment living.
Editorial will be a mix of home design and the emergence of new building and construction materials and methods, as well as news for the construction industry.
We will also cover automation technology and all the gear you need inside a modern home today including lighting appliances, entertainment systems as well the latest look and colours.
The publications will include Scope Residential, Scope Rooms, Scope Entertainment + Scope Appliances.
The new publications will be part of our new Brand Noise business.
Your job will involve working directly with marketing and communication executives at major brands, to ensure that our editorial and production teams are delivering content that keeps bringing them back to our digital publications including ChannelNews Australia’s #1 site for the CE and appliance industry and that existing accounts are renewed.
You will also be responsible for opening up new opportunities, a sales role that involves getting appointments with prospects who we believe are a perfect fit for Brand Noise and our publications.
You will also manage the relationships with brands who invest in both SmartHouse and Plug two digital publications that we distribute online inside the JB Hi Fi and The Good Guys web sites which expose our publications to over 20 million Unique Visitors a month.

The role will involve:
· Building trust and truly understanding client needs
· Be able to upsell clients into additional information service such as custom publications, video or social media opportunities.
· Be able to work with management in identifying, new business prospects who are a perfect fit and with whom we are confident we can deliver for.
· Teaming up with our internal team to deliver solutions
· Be able to pitch a PowerPoint presentation outlining our services.
· You will be good at massaging clients and winning their trust
· Staying in sync with our editorial teams and new product launches which happen every day at brand noise.
· Using your powers of influence and negotiation to seal the deal and drive growth
· You will earn commission from existing clients, and higher commission from new clients
· Base Salary $125,000
Earning of $165,000+ are achievable.
Proficient in CRM software and Microsoft Office suite, we also use LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and we have an abundance of leads.
About You:
· You will already be working in a media or an account management role within the communication and media industry.
· You will have 3+ years’ experience in retail Account Management, Agency Client Service, or Business Development
· You will love building relationships, while also being able to open doors so that management can pitch our services.
· You will be ambitious and keen to earn high commissions
· You will be a team player and a person who knows how to win new business and then keep those clients with good account management.
· You will work from our offices in North Sydney, and occasionally from home, phone and notebook provided.
· You will be expected to travel in Australia as our clients are based in multiple Cities. We also only deal with major blue chip brands.
You will work out of our North Sydney Office overlooking the harbour.
