Construction Estimating Specialist

What You’ll Do:

Lead the Tender Process:
Proactively manage and drive the tender and quotation process to secure winning bids that meet and exceed company KPIs. You'll develop innovative tender strategies and review complex tender documentation to position our bids for success.

Prepare Detailed Client Tenders:

Prepare Detailed Client Tenders:
Craft comprehensive scope of works for our clients by accurately interpreting architectural and engineering drawings, and specifications, translating them into precise bills of quantities.

Stakeholder Liaison:
Build strong relationships with both internal and external project stakeholders. Your clear and confident cost submissions will inspire trust and confidence across the board.

Financial Forecasting & Negotiations:
Prepare detailed project forecasts and work closely with suppliers and contractors to secure the best pricing, while ensuring that all quotes and tenders are completed in a timely and efficient manner.

Risk Management:
Analyse, manage, and mitigate risk throughout the tendering process, ensuring that each project is set up for success from the start.

What We’re Looking For:

Hands-on expertise with key business computing applications relevant to our operations.

Advanced skills in handling spreadsheets, databases, and managing industry-specific contracts and documents.

A proactive mindset with a keen ability to interpret complex tender and technical documentation.

Excellent time management skills to ensure efficient workflow and timely delivery of tenders

Exceptional communication skills to liaise with a broad range of stakeholders confidently.

Proven ability to manage the end-to-end tender process while meeting stringent KPIs.

Experience/Education

Previous construction estimation.

Relevant construction/commercial flooring experience is preferred.

Building regulations and Codes of Practice.

Familiarity with time optimization strategies is a plus
