About the Role:

We are looking for a dedicated Digital Support AV Support Officer to join our team in Cairns. The successful candidate will provide technical support for audiovisual (AV) systems, assisting in the setup, maintenance, and troubleshooting of digital and AV equipment. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about technology and customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for AV and digital systems.
• Set up, configure, and operate AV equipment for meetings, presentations, and events.
• Perform routine maintenance and upgrades of AV systems and hardware.
• Assist in the installation of new AV equipment and digital systems.
• Collaborate with IT teams to ensure seamless integration of AV systems with other digital technologies.
• Respond to and resolve user issues in a timely and professional manner.
• Maintain accurate documentation of system configurations, support tickets, and troubleshooting activities.
• Ensure AV systems are working optimally for business operations and client events.

Key Requirements:

• Proven experience in AV support or a similar technical support role.
• Strong understanding of AV equipment and technologies, including video conferencing systems, projectors, and audio systems.
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues efficiently.
• Familiarity with IT systems, networks, and digital tools.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• A proactive approach to problem-solving and maintaining high service standards.
• Previous experience working in a corporate or educational environment is an advantage.
• Valid driver's license may be required for on-site support.
