Join the Reporting, Information and Digital Solutions directorate and lead digital innovation within Fisheries Queensland. We’re seeking a skilled Technical Lead to guide a talented development team and drive system improvements that support strategic objectives and stakeholder needs.
As the Technical Lead, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation and continual improvement of digital platforms, helping to streamline processes, reduce downtime, and enable informed decision-making through robust data practices.

Your Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and advise on software development, data architecture, and digital systems operations.
• Improve operational efficiency by streamlining development workflows and minimizing system downtime.
• Drive accurate reporting and analytics through effective data management.
• Reduce technical debt and address system challenges proactively.
• Ensure project alignment with departmental priorities and stakeholder expectations.
• Oversee digital security compliance and conduct system audits in line with government standards.
• Support project management activities, including coordinating timelines, budgets, and deliverables.
• Manage day-to-day functionality and operations of the Digital Solutions team, reporting directly to the Manager, Digital Solutions.
