The role

Seeking an experienced 3D Modeller / Structural Draftsperson to join our team in Cheltenham, Victoria. Our projects include Large Scale Playtowers, Pedestrian Bridges, Boardwalks, and Shade Structures.

This is a full-time position where you will be responsible for creating detailed 3D models and structural drawings to support the design and construction of our infrastructure projects.

Key responsibilities

Produce high-quality 3D models and 2D structural drawings using CAD software

Produce Buililding Approval and Isuue For Construction drawings

Liase with Clients to produce Concept Design drawings

Collaborate with engineers and project managers to understand design requirements and translate them into technical drawings

Review and approval of Steel Detailer drawings

Ensure all drawings comply with relevant Australian Standards and industry best practice

Provide support and guidance to less experienced team members

Contribute to the continuous improvement of our design processes and documentation

What we're looking for

5+ years of experience as a 3D Modeller and/or Structural Draftsperson, preferably in the infrastructure open space construction industry

Proficiency in using CAD software such as AutoCAD, Revit, Solidworks, Tekla and/or Microstation

Some understanding of structural engineering principles and construction methods

Excellent attention to detail and ability to work to tight deadlines accross simultaneos projects

Good communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with Clients, Project Managers and Fabricators
