We are currently seeking a proactive and self-motivated Facilities Officer to make the move into a diverse, fast-paced role with our NSW Government client!
This role is an office-based position in Haymarket, working as part of a truly collaborative team environment that are well-known for their exceptional customer service.

- Monday - Friday, 35 hours per week.

The Role
- Co-ordinate and monitor the delivery of the property services including but not limited to; preventative and proactive repairs and service maintenance; cleaning, relocations; security and emergency systems; car parking; energy usage and efficiency; and WHS regulations.
- Communicate with staff, service contractors and external departments surrounding all aspects of property services to ensure that reasonable expectations are established and services are delivered accordingly.
- Maintain computerised records for property matters including renewal of leases, maintenance details and co-ordinate payment of accounts.
- Provide timely responses to ServiceDesk portal requests and report back to staff and the Facilities Team on actions taken.
- Support with Fleet management duties where required
You will need:
- Experience in the tenancy soft services delivery side of Facilities Management is essential
- Full, clean NSW Drivers Licence is essential
- Experience in or knowledge of preventative proactive maintenance systems, WHS, cleaning, electrical, air conditioning, security systems and emergency systems would be beneficial
- Previous Government experience would be beneficial but not essential
- Candidates must be happy to undergo a full police check
- Due to the possibility of extension with this role, our client has requested that candidates have full, unrestricted work rights
