What you'll do:
As a Facilities Management Contract Officer, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the smooth operation of our client's assets. Your primary responsibility will be to monitor the performance of maintenance service contracts, ensuring that all parties are adhering to their obligations. You will also implement plans, procedures, and systems that ensure these assets meet legislative requirements and Australian standards. Your expertise will be called upon as you manage the procurement of term service contracts and works and services programs. Additionally, you will monitor budgets to ensure that maintenance services are being provided within allocated limits. Your role will also involve preparing specialist technical advice, reports, and issue papers on matters of contractual, technical or operational significance.
- Monitor the performance of maintenance service contracts ensuring service providers are in compliance with contract conditions
- Implement plans, procedures and systems to ensure that assets are compliant with the appropriate legislation and Australian standards
- Manage the procurement of term service contracts and works and services programs in accordance with Government policy and procedures
- Monitor the budgets of maintenance service contracts to ensure services are provided within allocated budget limits
- Prepare and deliver specialist technical advice, reports and issues papers relating to matters of contractual, technical or operational significance
- Consult with key stakeholders about service issues and make recommendations regarding the scope, nature, scale or intensity of the works or service activities
