Hays Recruitment is working with an educational-based facility in the Eastern Suburbs who require a facilities officer to join their team.
Your new role
In your new role as a facilities officer, you will work closely with the facilities management team and will be responsible for:
- Managing and triaging work orders for maintenance works around the facility
- Manage permits and assist with parking issues
- Coordinate with contractors for building and infrastructure maintenance.
- Assist with access passes
- Review and manage the facilities room hire
- Provide support to the facilities team
- Logging of maintenance works
- Maintain inventory and order necessary supplies.
What you'll need to succeed
For you to be successful in this role, you will:
- Demonstrated experience working in a similar facilities officer or facilities helpdesk role
- CRM system knowledge
- Excellent communication skills and ability to communicate with internal and external stakeholders
- Strong organisational and multitasking abilities.
- National police check and working with children's check.
