Hays Recruitment is working with an educational-based facility in the Eastern Suburbs who require a facilities officer to join their team.

Your new role

In your new role as a facilities officer, you will work closely with the facilities management team and will be responsible for:

• Managing and triaging work orders for maintenance works around the facility
• Manage permits and assist with parking issues
• Coordinate with contractors for building and infrastructure maintenance.
• Assist with access passes
• Review and manage the facilities room hire
• Provide support to the facilities team
• Logging of maintenance works
• Maintain inventory and order necessary supplies.

What you'll need to succeed

For you to be successful in this role, you will:

• Demonstrated experience working in a similar facilities officer or facilities helpdesk role
• CRM system knowledge
• Excellent communication skills and ability to communicate with internal and external stakeholders
• Strong organisational and multitasking abilities.
• National police check and working with children's check.
