Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and present a variety of sushi dishes with precision in cutting, portioning, and presentation.

Maintain strict hygiene and safety standards, including keeping the work area clean and following food safety procedures.

Work effectively with the kitchen team and front-of-house staff to ensure smooth operations.

Provide training and mentorship to junior kitchen staff on sushi techniques and best practices.

Assist in general kitchen duties, when necessary, especially during peak periods.

Qualifications and Skills:

A Food Safety Certificate is preferred.

Previous experience as a Cook or Sushi Chef in a busy restaurant environment.

Strong knife skills and ingredient handling abilities, particularly in sushi preparation.

Excellent teamwork and communication skills.

A strong sense of responsibility and good time management skills.
