The Practice Manager position is a demanding and rewarding job requiring the ability to develop and manage human resources, maintain financial records and implement quality systems within a medical practice to ensure the smooth and efficient running of the practice. This includes the ability to develop and maintain a suite of practice policies and procedures that meet the required standards as defined in the RACGP Standards for accreditation.
The successful applicant is expected to show capability in the following areas:
abroad understanding of the requirements of a small to medium business
leadership and team-building systems for operation efficiency
basic skills in accounting and business reporting
knowledge of relevant legislation or ability to quickly gain
knowledge of Fairwork and conditions of employment
commitment to ongoing education and decision making competence
excellent communication and IT skills
