About the role

Horizon Medical Centre Stepney is seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented individual to take on the role of Practice Manager / Senior Receptionist. This full-time position will be based in our Stepney, SA 5069 clinic and will play a crucial part in ensuring the smooth running of our General practice clinic .

What you'll be doing

Overseeing all administrative and operational aspects of the practice, including staff management, scheduling, inventory control, and financial management

Serving as the main point of contact for patients, ensuring a positive and efficient experience

Liaising with healthcare providers, third-party vendors, and other stakeholders to coordinate services and resolve any issues

Implementing and maintaining policies, procedures, and systems to optimise practice workflows

Analysing data and generating reports to identify areas for improvement and drive decision-making

Providing exceptional customer service and fostering a welcoming, patient-centric environment

What we're looking for

Strong organisational and multitasking abilities, with a proven track record of effectively managing competing priorities

Should have worked in a General practice setting as a senior receptionist or a practice manager .

Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally with patients, clinicians, and other stakeholders

Proficient in the use of practice management software, medicare requirements , electronic medical record systems, and other relevant technology

A collaborative mindset and the ability to lead and motivate a team

Keen attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining accurate records and data
