About the Role:

Strategic Business Co. is recruiting on behalf of Brothers Sports Club Bundaberg Incorporated for a full-time Duty Manager at the beautiful Woodgate Beach Club.

As a Duty Manager, you’ll play a key role in leading staff, overseeing daily operations, maintaining a high level of customer service, and ensuring compliance with all operational and legislative requirements.

Location: Woodgate Beach, Queensland

Key Responsibilities:

Staff selection, rostering, training, communication, appraisals, and discipline

Supervising and supporting operational staff across departments

Maintaining a working knowledge of all club operations

Conducting regular safety and security checks of the facility

Handling customer concerns, complaints, and compliments in a professional manner

Ensuring sufficient staffing each shift and sourcing replacements when needed

Accurate reading, balancing, and securing of cash floats and registers

Assisting Department Heads in managing and supervising staff in line with club policies

Skills and Experience:

Strong supervisory and leadership skills

Excellent communication and customer service abilities

High level of procedural compliance and operational standards

Accurate cash handling and balancing experience

Strong interpersonal and team-building skills

Ability to remain calm and make decisions under pressure

Qualifications

Responsible Management of Licensed Venues certificate

Approved Manager’s Licence

Provide Responsible Gambling Services certificate

Current First Aid and CPR Certificate
