Key Responsibilities

• Lead and maintain quality management systems related to primary care

• Monitor, interpret, and report on key health data to drive service improvements

• Manage and coordinate Red Lily’s outreach services and support multidisciplinary teams

• Develop and implement clinical systems that support chronic disease management and health screening

• Promote Aboriginal Health Practitioners as first-line care providers

• Drive accreditation activities and continuous quality improvement initiatives

• Manage human and physical resources, budgets, and Medicare processes

• Support workforce development through orientation, mentoring, and professional development programs

About You

Essential:

1. Registered Nurse with AHPRA and relevant postgraduate qualification

2. Extensive experience in Remote Area Nursing and multidisciplinary team management

3. Strong understanding of Aboriginal health issues, cultural safety, and social determinants of health

4. Expertise in interpreting health data and leading quality improvement activities

5. Excellent interpersonal, leadership, problem-solving, and IT communication skills

6. Ability and willingness to travel to remote communities by air and road

7. Current Police Check and Ochre Card (or ability to obtain)

8. Full Australian working rights

Desirable:

1. Postgraduate qualifications in Public Health, Primary Health Care, or related fields

2. Additional certifications in Child Health, Emergency, Midwifery, or Mental Health

3. Business-related qualifications

4. Knowledge of Northern Territory health legislation and policy framework
