Northern Health are seeking applications from motivated and suitably experienced HIS Manager to join the Datasets Reporting Unit within the Health Information Services department.

About Northern Health:

Northern Health is the major provider of acute, maternity, sub-acute, mental health, specialist, community and home-based services in Melbourne's rapidly growing outer north.

Services are provided through our five main campuses:

Northern Hospital Epping, Broadmeadows Hospital, Bundoora Centre, Craigieburn Centre, and Kilmore District Hospital. In addition, Mental Health Services are provided at Epping, Broadmeadows, Jacana, Preston, Mill Park and Coburg.

About the Role:

The HIS Manager Datasets Reporting Unit is responsible for contributing to the effective leadership of the Health Information Services Datasets Reporting Unit (DRU) and the i.PM (Patient Administration System) Application Support team by demonstrating outstanding business development and analysis skills.

To be successful in this role you will have:

• Experience in a senior Health Information Management role within a medium to large complex health service.
• Extensive statutory reporting experience within a medium to large complex health service.
• Experience and understanding of ABF models, including Clinical Coding & Auditing.
