Casual Support Worker – Bright Start Supports

About Us:

Bright Start Supports is a small but dynamic team that provides person-centered support to individuals with disabilities, mental health challenges, and high needs. We focus on building independence, confidence, and skills through tailored support programs.

About the Role:

As a Support Worker, you will provide hands-on support to clients in various settings, including home, community, and employment-based programs. You will assist with daily living activities, personal care, social engagement, and skill development, while managing challenging behaviours in a professional and compassionate manner.

What We’re Looking For:

✅ Certificate III in Individual Support (or equivalent) highly regarded
✅ Experience supporting individuals with challenging behaviours, mental health conditions, and high needs
✅ Strong communication and de-escalation skills
✅ A team player with a positive attitude and a commitment to person-centered care
✅ Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends if required

Essential Requirements:

✔️ NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain)
✔️ Current First Aid & CPR Certificate
✔️ Valid Driver’s License and reliable vehicle
✔️ Working with Children Check
