HE Silos Forbes – a trusted name in Australian grain storage since 1969 – is seeking a dynamic Sales Manager to lead our sales efforts, grow our market share, and drive innovation in grain storage technology.

About the Role:
As a Sales Manager, you’ll be the driving force behind generating leads, securing sales, and expanding our customer base. You’ll represent HE Silos Forbes at major agricultural field days, tradeshows, and industry events, positioning our products as the trusted choice for farmers and agricultural businesses across Australia. This role demands a results-oriented individual with strong CRM and sales strategy skills, an eye for detail, and a passion for providing tailored solutions to our valued clients.

Key Responsibilities:

Build and maintain strong client relationships through proactive Customer Relationship Management (CRM).

Plan, coordinate, and represent HE Silos Forbes at key industry events and conferences.

Manage and maintain sales data and customer information via our ERP System.

Collaborate with internal departments including logistics and production to deliver outstanding customer service.

Research and report on industry trends, competitor products, and market positioning.

Develop and implement local market sales strategies to meet and exceed targets.

Produce detailed reports on sales KPIs, forecasts, and marketing outcomes.

Oversee planning for promotional activities at field days and tradeshows.

What We're Looking For:

2+ years' experience in sales or sales management, ideally within the grain, agronomy, or agribusiness industries.

A proven ability to build strong client relationships and close deals.

A proactive, solution-focused approach to customer needs.

Outstanding communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

Strong time management, organisational and CRM/ERP software skills.

A full, current Driver’s Licence

Desirable:

Background in grain storage, agronomy, or agricultural equipment sales.

Strong analytical skills and a passion for the agricultural sector.
