The thriving Brisbane office is growing very steadily and is looking for an experienced Administration Officer/Personal Assistant to assist one of the Partners with key tasks and responsibilities, as well as offering administration support to the current Practice Manager. This role has huge growth opportunities, offering you development toward becoming the Practice Manager in the coming years!
About the role
As an Administration Officer/Personal Assistant, your key responsibilities will include:
- Managing appointment bookings, scheduling, assisting with events and social committee responsibilities for the Partner
- Providing back up for reception duties and answering client calls
- Answering client queries, checking client GST registrations and sending out ABNs
- Working closely with the Practice Manager to collate documentation and perform ASIC-related compliance work
Skillset and Experience:
- Proven experience in an administrative or personal assistant role in a professional services industry (experience in a public practice accounting firm is highly regarded!)
- Experience with ATO and ASIC compliance is preferred
- Experience across Xero, Ignition, NowInfinity, SuiteFiles and Microsoft Office is a bonus (but not required!)
- Ability to prioritise workload and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Excellent attention to detail, high-level of efficiency and ability to adapt to quickly changing schedules
- Someone who is motivated by growth, and who loves a fun and collaborative team!
