Claims Consultant - Property Claims

• Full time hours Monday to Friday between 8.30AM - 5.00PM
• Close to public transport - Wynyard Sydney CBD
• Near public transport, trains and buses
• Temporary role - ASAP Start: 28th April - 26th September
• $39.20 per hour + super

The company
Our client is a global general insurance company based in Australia and New Zealand who offers a range of insurance products, including home, car, business, and travel insurance. They are one of the largest insurance providers in the region, known for its customer service and care for their customers and employees.

The role
This is a property catastrophe claims consultant role where you will be handling inbound calls from customers who have been affected by the recent weather events. You will handling calls and showing empathy to customers who are going through a tough time, gathering information required to manage the claims process.

• Act as the point of contact for the customer
• Take thorough information and documentation required and input through the correct channels to manage the claims process end to end
• Provide compassion and empathy for customers
• Ensure claim information is compliant with policies and regulations
• Accurate information handling

About you

• Inbound customer service within a call centre (ideally within Financial Services)
• Attention to detail
• Compassion and empathy
• Previous claims experience
• Tech savvy
