My manufacturing client is seeking a reliable and highly organised Service Administrator to join their team. This role works to proactively engage with an existing customer base and servicing their existing requirements. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a positive attitude, and a strong work ethic.
The duties and responsibilities will include:
- Providing admin support and general office duties
- Accurate and timely data entry
- Maintaining customer account relationships
- Providing a link between customers and the timely dispatch of goods
- Communicate with customers and internal staff to proactively manage customers immediate and future demands
- Ensuring details relating to sales orders is processed, managed, and maintained correctly and in a timely manner
- Generate and ship picking slips in a timely manner
- Professional email correspondence
- Provide supplementary assistance to Key Account Managers
- Friendly and professional customer service
The successful candidate will have:
- Proven work experience in Administration or similar role
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Hands-on experience with office equipment
- Professional attitude and appearance
- Solid written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to be resourceful and proactive when issues arise
- Excellent organisational skills
- Multitasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks
- Customer service attitude
