🔧 About the Role:
We are looking for a motivated Trade Assistant to work closely with experienced Mechanical Fitters. You’ll be involved in:

• Repair and maintenance of a wide variety of machinery
• Predominantly workshop-based with occasional field service work
• Assisting with both minor and major repairs
• Diagnosing faults and mechanical issues

🛠️ Equipment You’ll Work On:

• Trucks, Shuttle Buggies (hot asphalt laying machines)
• Bobcats, skid steers, prime movers
• Civil machinery (CAT, Volvo, asphalt equipment)

⏰ Hours:

• 6:30 AM start, finish around 4–5 PM
• Flexible hours with heaps of overtime available

💵 Rate:

• $35–$40 per hour + penalties

What We’re Looking For:
✅ Mechanical aptitude and hands-on experience
✅ Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues
✅ Exposure to heavy machinery maintenance (highly regarded)
✅ Team player with a strong work ethic
