Spray Painter, Panel Beater, Spray Painters Assistant, Mechanical Trade Assistant

Flexihire is currently seeking to appoint experienced Spray Painters & Trades Assistant in full-time positions. The roles will offer the opportunity to work in a specialised workshop located in their Gladstone Branch. With a variety of hire equipment that features light, medium and heavy construction equipment, Flexihire large fleet includes 800 KG Excavators, 13T Road Rollers along with Lighting Towers, Boom Lifts, Scissor Lifts, Forklifts, Generators and a variety of other hire equipment.

About the Role

Remove repair, replace damaged panels and components, auto-electric components and mechanical components using the correct procedure.

Preparation of equipment for spray painting.

Major Mechanical Rebuilds

Use measuring, mechanical, and hydraulic equipment to restore equipment to factory specifications and above.

Assist various trades people with different trades.

Spray painting and repairs to the fleet as required.

Maintaining housekeeping of the workshop area.

Correct storage, handling and disposal of chemicals and associated waste.

Key Skills

Equipment background (preferred but not essential)

Spray Painting Trade (with panel beating experience)

Work effectively in a team

Ability to work unsupervised.

Reliable, punctual, and hardworking

Can adhere to workplace policies as well as WHS standard.

Ability to efficiently manage time.

Attention to detail, with a focus on delivering exceptional standards of workmanship.

Current drivers licence essential.

Forklift Licence (desirable)
