We are currently seeking an experienced and reliable CNC Lathe Operator to join our client's team - a long-standing and reputable manufacturer in the metal product fabrication industry. This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established operation in Melbourne's Eastern Suburbs, offering ongoing full-time hours on day shift (Monday to Friday) with strong potential for permanent placement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate CNC lathes to manufacture precision metal components
• Conduct pre-start checks and ensure optimal machine performance
• Perform routine maintenance (e.g. oiling, tool changes, coolant checks)
• Monitor production quality and make necessary adjustments
• Read and interpret technical drawings and job instructions
• Maintain a clean, safe, and compliant work environment

About You:

• Demonstrated experience operating CNC machinery in a metal fabrication setting
• Strong ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints
• Reliable transport and availability for full-time work
• Full Australian work rights
• Relevant trade or technical qualifications will be highly regarded
