About the role

We are seeking a skilled Sheet Metal Machine Operator (Folder) to join our dynamic team at A2Z Flashings Pty Ltd in Rowville, Victoria. As a full-time employee, you will play a crucial role in our manufacturing operations, operating specialised sheet metal machinery to produce high-quality components for our clients.

What you'll be doing

Operate sheet metal folding machines to bend and form metal sheets into precise components

Perform setups, adjustments, and maintenance on folding machines to ensure optimal performance

Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards

Collaborate with the production team to optimise workflows and identify opportunities for improvement

Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to all health and safety protocols

What we're looking for

Proven experience as a sheet metal machine operator, particularly with folding machines (SWI Machinary)

Strong understanding of sheet metal fabrication processes and techniques

Excellent attention to detail and ability to work with precision

Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications

Familiarity with quality control procedures and the ability to identify and resolve issues

Good problem-solving and decision-making skills

Strong communication and teamwork skills
