The Department of Primary Industries and Regional Development (DPIRD) lead the sustainable development of Western Australia’s regions and agriculture, aquaculture, food and fisheries sectors. Level 7: Manager Workforce Strategy and Culture

Level 6: Workforce Strategy and Culture Consultant

Manager, Workforce Strategy and Culture, Level 7

You will lead and manage the Department's Workforce Strategy and Culture team, driving the development and delivery of strategic, customer-focused programs and initiatives that enhance organisational capability. You will be responsible for creating and implementing workforce strategies that align with the Department’s Strategic Intent, fostering a high-performance culture that supports the achievement of organisational goals. You will also collaborate with senior leadership and key stakeholders to ensure the continuous development and implementation of effective culture and capability programs that contribute to organisational success.

Workforce Strategy and Culture Consultant, Level 6

You will focus on developing forward-thinking strategies that drive workplace transformation, from capability building to cultural change. Your expertise will guide leaders and ensure alignment across the business to achieve organizational excellence.

You will engage with key stakeholders across the business to ensure alignment and collaboration, guiding leaders to enhance their capabilities in managing teams and performance. This role will include conducting in-depth analysis and research to identify priority capability development areas and contribute to the development of strategic workforce strategies and organisational change initiatives.

We are looking for individuals with:

Demonstrated experience in developing, managing, and implementing organisational development strategies and programs that drive enhanced performance and workforce capability, including the application of change management principles.

Experience in workforce planning and/or implementation of Diversity and Inclusion initiatives.

Demonstrated leadership skills in building and nurturing collaborative relationships, fostering teamwork and engagement across teams and stakeholders.

Proven ability to identify key priorities, maintain focus on high-impact objectives, and drive performance while fostering resilience and promoting a positive, high-performance culture within the team.
