Skilled Tradesman (willing to pay up to $70K)

The role:

Alkemade Trading are after an experienced trades person with good communication skills, a strong work ethic, to come and learn Chainmesh Fencing and most importantly fit in with our existing team.

Tasks

Installation of steel and timber fencing (Predominantly Chainmesh fencing for sporting fields and enclosures), minor concreting, soft and hard landscaping, including site prep and clean.

Working within our team.

Prepare site for installation of fences and landscapes i.e Dig holes, Level site, Implementation of drawings, Using Power tools, Site clean.

Provide Photos, and any feedback throughout job and on completion.

Working within our team – so important we put it in twice.

Our range of work covers Metropolitan Melbourne and surrounding areas, we do work away on occasion. Due to this there is a fair amount of driving involved.

Bulk of our work is Sporting enclosures such as cricket nets, tennis courts, sporting fields and some domestic landscaping.

Requirements

Experience and knowledge reading plans, using power tools, hand tools and working on construction sites.

Construction White card

Driver’s License

Full Australian work rights

Willing to undergo a pre-employment medical including drug and alcohol testing

Working with children – if you don’t have it we can acquire that for you.

Bonus points – able to do basic Welding, Excavator, Skid steer or EWP tickets and if you have a HR license.
