About the role

Nebula Group is seeking an experienced Carpenter / Structural Landscaper to join our team in Newcastle, NSW. This full-time role is essential in delivering high-quality building and landscaping services to our growing customer base. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for a variety of carpentry and structural landscaping duties.

What you'll be doing

Constructing and installing a range of timber structures, including decking, fencing, pergolas and other outdoor features

Performing general carpentry work such as framing, flooring, and roofing

Designing and building custom landscaping elements like retaining walls, planters, and garden beds

Operating power tools and equipment safely and efficiently

Reading and interpreting building plans and specifications

Collaborating with the wider construction team to ensure projects are completed on time and to a high standard

Maintaining a clean and organised worksite

What we're looking for

Qualified carpenter with a minimum of 3 years' experience in residential and commercial construction

Strong background in structural and decorative landscaping, including the installation of hard and soft landscaping features

Excellent carpentry skills, including the ability to read plans, measure accurately, and perform a range of woodworking tasks

Experience using a variety of hand and power tools, and a commitment to working safely

Good communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team

Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and a keen eye for detail
