This is a hands-on role and will include all aspects of soft and hard landscaping from planting and turfing to building retaining walls, fences, decks, excavation, concreting and paving

Delivery of a quality standard of work and exceptional attention to detail

A strong work ethic and a sense of pride in delivering quality work.

Effective communication

Willingness to learn and follow directions from the Site Supervisors and Project Manager

Maintenance of all equipment and machinery

Cert III Horticulture or Landscaping, or relevant trade and landscaping experience

Current Driver’s License (Manual preferred) and White Card

Excavator experience is preferred.

Hours of work are 6:30am - 3pm

Your Responsibilities:

As a residential landscaper, you'll play a crucial role in constructing in hardscaping projects, mainly focusing on high-end residential properties and some commercial projects. Your duties will include preparing ground levels and site setups, operating machinery, and working closely with our team of professional landscapers. From retaining walls, concreting, tiling, to garden edging, paving to timber fences, you'll have the opportunity to showcase your skills in a like-minded environment on high end projects.

Requirements

What We're Looking For:

Certificate III Landscape Construction (desirable but not essential)

Carpenter Skills (desirable but not essential)

Queensland driver's license (manual).

Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and a collaborative team spirit.

A minimum of 5 years construction landscaping experience

High level of attention to detail, keen eye for errors

Ability to adapt and remain flexible, willingness to learn.

Responsibilities:

Interpret and read landscape plans.

Project setting-out

Grade adjustments

Stone/brick/concrete paving

Formwork and concrete pouring

Timber work including screens, fencing, and sleeper installations.

Stonework utilizing stone cladding and natural stone.

Irrigation system installation and maintenance

Brickwork for walls, steps, and soft landscaping such as soil preparation, planting, and turfing
