About the role

We are seeking an experienced Window Estimator to join our team at WRS Windows & Doors' in Castle Hill, NSW. As a Window Estimator, you will be responsible for providing accurate and detailed cost estimates for residential window and door projects. This is a full-time role and you will be an integral part of our growing company.

Please note: Prior experience in Softech V6, Logical Orgadata or another aluminium window and door estimation / production software is a must for this role.

What you'll be doing

Reviewing project plans, specifications and drawings to determine the scope of work and required products and materials

Answering the phones and answering customer inquiries and questions on the spot

Utilising our Softech V6 Window & Door software to build the required windows and doors for quoting

Utilising the Softech V6 Window & Door software to generate customer quotes and detailed price estimates

Preparing shipping and delivery costs using various shipping and courier portals

Collaborating with management and team members to ensure estimates are aligned with the customer and business requirements

Maintaining and updating pricing information, vendor databases, and estimating tools

Identifying potential risks or issues that could impact project costs and communicating these to the team

Providing support and guidance to the fabrication crew to ensure projects are completed within budget

What we're looking for

Minimum 3 years' experience as a Window Estimator (V6 / Logical / Ect) or in a similar construction estimating role

Strong understanding of residential window and door products, Australian Standards, Building Codes, Fire Rating and associated costs

Proficiency in reading and interpreting construction plans and specifications

Excellent mathematical and analytical skills to accurately calculate quantities and costs

Familiarity within the Window and Door industry and an understanding of the products you are selling

Strong attention to detail and ability to work to tight deadlines

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with clients, sales, and project teams
