A fantastic opportunity awaits an experienced Head Chef to join our award-winning team and lead kitchen operations. Based at our South Wharf hub, you will oversee multiple venues and have the autonomy to manage all culinary aspects of the kitchen.
Your Opportunities:
Reporting to the Executive Chef, you will be supported in various aspects of the role.
As Head Chef, you will have the opportunity to apply your leadership skills across multiple venues, inspiring and supporting the development of our junior team through hands-on mentoring and guidance.
You’ll take pride in preparing high-quality dishes from thoughtfully crafted menus that aim to make our food a standout element of every event. The role also offers the opportunity to create bespoke menus tailored to each occasion and client vision, allowing you to showcase your creativity and culinary expertise.

We are looking for someone who:
· Is experienced in event catering or similar high-volume kitchens
· Passionate about modern techniques and exceptional presentation
· Is committed to producing high-quality food products consistently
· Delivers consistency and takes pride in maintaining presentation standards
· Enjoys mentoring and developing an inspired kitchen team
· Possesses a solid understanding of kitchen costs and controls

· Adaptable to working across multiple venues and off-site locations
Key Responsibilities:
· Ensure consistency in food quality, presentation and service across all events in multiple venues
· Manage kitchen operations efficiently, ensuring a smooth workflow and timely delivery of service
· Rostering and managing labour costs, ensuring optimal staffing levels according to business demands
· Oversee ordering, inventory control and monitor food costs in line with budget requirements
· Maintain Food Safety records and ensure hygiene and cleanliness are kept to a high standard
· Leading, training and mentoring the developing Chefs in your kitchen team
Is this for you?
Current experience as a Head Chef with minimum 3 years’ experience.
Experience in a high-end boutique catering company or events company will be considered a distinct advantage.
This is a full-time position, working across a 7-day roster including day shifts, evenings and weekends depending on business requirements.
