Human Resources Officer

Location: Hobart
Contract Length: 3+ months
Hourly Rate: $44 per hour + super
Hours: Monday to Friday, 38 hours per week

About the Opportunity:
We are looking for a Human Resources Officer to join a supportive and dynamic People and Culture team based in the heart of Hobart. This is a fantastic opportunity for a HR professional with strong administration skills who's ready to hit the ground running in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide high-level administrative support, including answering calls, drafting correspondence, and directing enquiries.

Monitor and manage group email inboxes.

Review and update position descriptions.

Handle data entry and electronic filing using systems like TechnologyOne, Lanteria, and Microsoft Office (Excel and Word).

Support recruitment processes, including setting up meeting and training rooms, and welcoming candidates and new employees.

Assist with general recruitment administration tasks as needed.

What You'll Bring:

Certificate IV (or higher) in Human Resource Management, Business, Organisational Development, or a related field, or equivalent experience in a similar role.

Strong administrative, organisational, and time management skills.

Excellent communication skills and a proactive, team-focused approach.
