people2people are currently recruiting a 4 month HR Officer position for a State Government Agency, offering an immediate start for the right candidate. This role is based in Melbourne CBD, 3000, however will require occasional travel across their office based in Melbourne's Eastern suburbs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the Human Resources Inbox and ensure timely responses to HR enquiries
• Provide general HR advice to employees and managers in line with policies and procedures
• Prepare HR reports using excel
• Maintain HR templates, policy documents and support the review of performance processes
• Collaborate with the P&C team to delivery high quality service to stakeholders

Key Requirements:

• Previous experience working in a Human Resources Officer position
• Experience working within State Government is highly regarded but not essential
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Intermediate to advanced excel skills
• Must have or be willing to obtain a National Police Check
