The Role:

As the Quoting Coordinator, you will play a central role in managing, preparing, and optimising transport quotes for retail and corporate clients across Australia. You’ll liaise with transport partners, internal schedulers, and customers to deliver accurate, timely, and competitive pricing.

This is a hands-on, fast-paced role that requires a deep understanding of the vehicle transport industry.

Key Responsibilities:

Respond promptly to customer quote requests (phone but primarily email and web)

Prepare detailed quotes for door-to-door and depot-to-depot vehicle movements

Liaise with subcontractors and carriers for rate confirmation and availability

Maintain and update internal rate matrices and quoting tools

Track quote-to-booking conversion rates and optimise for performance

Support the sales team in securing high-volume and priority clients

Provide cost analysis and insights for seasonal or high-volume movements

Ensure compliance with company policies and industry standards

What We're Looking For:

Proven experience in quoting/pricing roles (vehicle transport or logistics preferred)

Strong knowledge of Australian freight networks, vehicle carriers, and fuel levies

Excellent recall and the ability to remember various carriers ‘off the top of your head’

Excellent attention to detail and commercial acumen

High-level communication and negotiation skills

Ability to manage multiple quotes and deadlines at once

Competency in CRM, quoting systems, or transport software

Enthusiastic, proactive, and solutions-focused mindset
