MPI Automotive (manufacturer and distributor of Manta Performance Exhausts) is a family business celebrating our 50 Year Anniversary. We are experiencing healthy growth and need to bolster our Sales Team; we are recruiting people with a passion for vehicles and connecting with customers and dealers. You will be responsible for processing orders and enquiries from our existing customer base, while also growing and maintaining relationships with new and lapsed customers.

We're looking for someone who is:

Proactive and reliable, with a strong sense of initiative and personal accountability

An excellent communicator - both written and verbal, who enjoys helping customers and solving problems

Detail-oriented and accurate, especially when entering orders and following up quotes

Knows the Automotive Industry or willingness to learn - an interest in or experience with automotive performance parts is a strong advantage

This is a full-time office-based position based in Belmont WA.

Activity involves inbound and outbound phone calls, along with written/online communications such as text, email and social media messages.

From our warehouses located in WA and Victoria, we ship exhaust systems all over Australia and beyond! We don't want you to just sell, we want you to help identify and offer solutions to our customers problems and pain points, through empathy, industry knowledge and fact finding!

Tasks & responsibilities

First Contact Resolution for all inbound phone, email, and online enquiries

Outbound calls to follow up on quotes, reconnect with past customers, and promote new products or campaigns. Maintain active communication with key accounts and frequent buyers.

Accurately enter and process sales orders using our ERP system

Assist customers with technical product questions – we’ll train you! Take ownership of customer issues and see them through to resolution

Maintain up-to-date knowledge of our product range and offerings

Skills & Experience Required:

Proven Sales & customer service experience

Automotive knowledge or Parts Interpreter experience highly regarded

Confident phone manners and ability to show patience and empathy

Good time management and multi-tasking skills

Sound computer and tech experience

You work well in a team environment to achieve common goals

Key Performance Indicators (KPI's)

Response time to customer enquiries

Quote follow-up and conversion rate

Order entry accuracy

Call and email activity targets

Customer satisfaction and relationship quality
