A leading international name in designer textiles is seeking a dynamic and results-oriented National Sales Support Leader to manage and empower the team of Sales Consultants. Reporting to the Sales Director, this pivotal role is responsible for driving sales effectiveness, ensuring operational excellence within the sales team, and contributing significantly to the achievement of national sales targets.
The ideal candidate will be a team player with a flair for management, and a proven track record of optimising sales functions within a creative and results driven environment.
Key responsibilities
Lead, mentor, and develop a national team of Sales Consultants, fostering a high-performance, collaborative, and results-driven culture
Identify training and development needs and implement programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of the sales support team
Develop, implement, and maintain efficient and effective sales support processes, tools, and resources to streamline the sales cycle
Oversee the management of CRM systems and ensure data integrity and accurate reporting
Develop and generate regular reports on sales support activities, identifying trends and areas for improvement
Work closely with the Sales Director to align sales support strategies with overall sales objectives.
Collaborate effectively with Marketing, Operations, and other relevant departments to ensure seamless support for the sales team
Providing backup and support to the sales team as needed
Skills and experience
Qualification in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing or related field highly regarded
Proven experience in a sales support or administrative role, preferably within the Architecture and Design industry
Strong understanding of sales processes, methodologies, and best practices
Exceptional organisational, attention to detail and time management skills
Excellent communication and customer service skills, with the ability to liaise with customers and colleagues at all levels
Proficient in using sales and productivity software, such as CRM systems and Microsoft Office
A team player with a proactive and problem-solving attitude
