About the role

We are seeking a talented and enthusiastic Barista/Cafe All Rounder to join our vibrant team at the Mountain View Cafe in Maleny, Queensland. In this casual position, you will be responsible for crafting delicious coffee creations, providing exceptional customer service, and assisting with various cafe duties. Your role will be integral to the smooth operation of our popular cafe, located in the picturesque Mary Cairncross Scenic Reserve.

What you'll be doing

Preparing and serving high-quality coffee and espresso-based beverages

Delivering outstanding customer service and creating a welcoming atmosphere for our guests

Assisting with food preparation, cashiering, and other cafe operations as needed

Maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the cafe's work areas

Contributing to a positive and collaborative team environment

What we're looking for

Previous experience as a barista is essential

Availability across weekdays and weekends

Strong knowledge of coffee preparation and brewing techniques

Excellent customer service skills and a friendly, approachable demeanor

Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively

Excellent communication and teamwork skills

A passion for the hospitality industry and a commitment to providing an exceptional customer experience
