Our valued client is one of Australia's fastest growing gourmet niche food manufacturers.

They are seeking an outstanding Warehouse Team Leader who is responsible for leading and managing daily co-ordination of warehouse operations - Transport, Warehouse, Order packing and Stock Control.

You will lead a team of warehouse workers and forklift operators and report to the Warehouse Manager in their Dandenong South facility.

Your contribution will be highly visible across the organization, and you will feel supported by the whole business.

This is a hands-on role.

Your key responsibilities:

Oversee the day-to-day coordination of inward, internal and outbound warehouse functions.

Warehouse administration.

Training and developing a diverse range of warehouse team members to maintain seamless warehouse coverage.

Ensure expectations in safety performance, production quality & customer service is being achieved.

Create and maintain a high performing culture.

The ideal candidate should have the following skills/experiences.

Experience as a Warehouse Team Leader, or similar role.

Natural leadership skills to bring the best out of your team.

Excellent organisational skills to actively manage meeting the daily production and delivery plans to specification while adhering to quality and safety protocols.

Proven ability to implement process and improvement initiatives

Good numeracy skills

Strong planning, organisational, decision-making, and problem-solving skills

Good communication skills both verbal and written

Strong focus on health & safety

Excellent interpersonal skills

Sound knowledge of MS Office
