Our Position
The Warehouse Team Leader is responsible for overseeing and continuously improving warehousing operations to meet customer needs and drive staff development. This role plays a critical part in enhancing efficiency, reducing costs, and supporting the Supply Chain Team in achieving DIFOT (Delivery In Full, On Time) targets through the implementation of best practices, continuous improvement initiatives, and data-driven decision-making.A key focus of the position is ensuring inventory accuracy and compliance with standardised processes to support business growth and deliver operational excellence. Your responsibilities include: · Lead, oversee and coordinate the warehousing team with their daily activities related to incoming materials, picking & packing outgoing products, material replenishment and inventory management. · Train, develop and motivate staff to fully understand all processes, creating a positive and productive team environment. · Implement safety, quality, productivity, and customer service standards across the Warehouse team to achieve DIFOT targets. · Conduct stocktakes and regular cycle counts. · Develop, document and train the team on Standard Operating Procedure’s (SOP’s). · Ensure an accurate & systematic approach to drive improvement in inventory management and warehousing, to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance overall performance. · Record and report any NCR (Non Conformance Report) across the warehousing function and work on Root Cause Analysis (RCA’s) to eliminate the NCR from happening again · Ensure the department is presentable following 5S and housekeeping standards & team is compliant with WHS / hazard identification and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
