An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced, hands on Warehouse Team Leader to join our dynamic team and play a pivotal role in Ripe's journey to the next level.

Reporting to the Managing Director, the main purpose of this role is to manage the day to day running of the warehouse, ensuring that our warehouse operates as efficiently, effectively and safely as possible.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage warehouse workflow to achieve maximum efficiencies

Coordinate team schedules and prioritise daily workloads

Lead and support the warehouse team in fulfilling daily orders

Manage receiving, handling, storage and accuracy of inventory in the warehouse

Troubleshoot fulfillment or stock issues quickly and effectively

Hands on with day-to-day warehouse tasks, including picking of stock

Implement and manage warehouse Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) procedures

Maintain a tidy, well-organised, and safe warehouse space

Work closely with other teams to ensure seamless operations

Suggest and support improvements to warehouse processes

The Ideal Candidate will have:

Strong leadership skills with a practical, lead-by-example approach

Experience managing small to medium-sized teams in a warehouse environment, and building a high-performing team with excellent culture

A team mindset - recognising that the success of the warehouse team is dependent on effective teamwork

A focus on accountability and commitment to delivering results that exceed expectations

A focus on safety and commitment to eliminating and managing risks and maintaining a safe work environment

A focus on maximising efficiency and minimising waste

A willingness to perform a mix of practical and administrative work

Strong organisational skills and attention to detail

Confidence in computer skills and using inventory management systems

Experience using Apparel21 ERP software a bonus
