Imagine Education and Kindergarten West End is looking a passionate and skilled Assistant Director to join our growing team!
As a key part of the leadership team, you’ll play a pivotal role in supporting and developing educators & early childhood teachers in your centre, as well as implementing the educational program and experiences to meet the individual needs of our children.
About your new role:
Assist with managing day-to-day operations in accordance with legislative requirements and company policies.
Providing leadership, mentorship, and guidance to our dedicated staff.
Your passion and enthusiasm will see you assisting in leading a classroom by effectively engaging with children, families, educators, and the wider community.
You will implement the educational program and experiences to meet the individual needs of our children.
Effectively handling and managing the centre's staffing rosters and financial requirements in line with budget guidelines.
Establishing and nurturing strong relationships with children, families, educators, the local business community, and all stakeholders.
Actively participating in attracting, converting, and retaining families through effective management of tours, enrolments, and orientation in collaboration with our Enrolments Team.
About you:
Hold a Diploma in Children's Services or an Early Childhood Degree approved by ACECQA.
Previous experience as an Assistant Director in an early childhood setting.
Current Blue Card, approved First Aid, CPR, Anaphylaxis, and Asthma qualifications
Exhibit an extensive understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF), National Quality Standards (NQS), and Quality Improvement Plan (QIP).
The ability to implement stimulating programs, and develop a curriculum based on the children's interests and the EYLF.
Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Showcase the ability to lead and mentor a team of dedicated early childhood professionals.
Demonstrate the ability to incorporate critical thinking and reflective practice into daily operations.
