About the Role
This role is more than just sales, it’s about creating long-term value for clients and helping businesses find solutions that truly improve their environments. As Business Development Manager, you'll be the face of the company to prospective clients, building trust, uncovering needs, and tailoring solutions that reflect both your expertise and the company's commitment to service excellence.
Day-to-day, your focus will be on identifying new business opportunities within the commercial, corporate, and industrial sectors. You’ll manage the entire sales process from initial outreach and proposal development to negotiations and ultimately closing the deal with the backing of an experienced and capable team who will ensure every client receives top-notch service post-sale.
Your responsibilities will include:
Researching and targeting potential clients across key industries
Building a strong sales pipeline through networking, outreach, and referrals
Meeting with business owners, facility managers, and procurement teams
Preparing and presenting professional, tailored proposals
Leading tenders, pricing discussions, and contract negotiations
Meeting KPIs and revenue targets, while keeping the client’s needs at the heart of every deal
Collaborating closely with operations to ensure smooth handover and client satisfaction
You’ll have plenty of autonomy in this role, but you’ll never be on your own. You’ll be supported by a responsive team, experienced leadership, and systems that help you spend more time selling and less time chasing paperwork.
About You
We’re looking for someone who’s more than just a sales professional. You’re a natural relationship builder, a great listener, and someone who genuinely enjoys helping others solve problems. You don’t just chase sales targets — you work to understand your clients, and it shows in the way you present ideas and earn their trust.
You might already be working in the cleaning, facilities, property, or service-based industries or you may come from another B2B background where you’ve learned how to deliver value, not just a product.
What you’ll bring to the table:
Experience in B2B sales, business development, or client acquisition role
A proven track record of consistently achieving or exceeding targets
Confidence in presenting to decision-makers across a range of industries
Strong communication and negotiation skills
A self-starter attitude with a knack for spotting opportunities
A willingness to learn, adapt, and grow with the business
A current driver’s licence (company vehicle or allowance provided)
Salary & Benefits
$80,000 to $90,000 Base + Super + Car + Commissions
Earn a competitive base salary with uncapped commissions, your income grows with your success.
Youll be supported, not micromanaged and given the tools and trust to truly own your role.
