As a valued team member, you will assist in the manufacture of next generation of emergency service vehicles serving the national emergency management sector.
9-day fortnight 6.00 am – 3.00 pm, fantastic company culture with supportive team, offering stable fulltime permanent employment.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee all daily manufacturing operations to ensure production targets are met.

Day to day management of laser cutting and pressing functions.

Drive a culture of safety, compliance, and operational excellence.

Establishing and achieving business and profit objectives including monthly profit and loss reviews.

Day to day management of laser cutting and pressing functions.

Identify opportunities for process improvements and implementing change to achieve goals.

Liaising with customers to ensure they are receiving exceptional service from start to finish

Stock management and purchasing.

Schedule machinery and equipment maintenance.

Requirements

Previous Manufacturing experience or long term work in a second in charge role.

Strong Motivation for Continuous Improvement.

Highly engaging leadership skills & able to work in a team environment.

Demonstrated ability to lead teams to achieve their best.

Experience

Laser cutting machine experience essential

Computer familiarity essential

Program and Nesting understanding essential

Material handling equipment use desirable

Capable of operating a laser machine

Reading Drawings essential

Team player

Experience in programming and operation of CNC Laser machines will be highly regarded

Read technical drawings

Routine maintenance
