We are looking for an inspiring and strategic First Nations Leader to lead the delivery of our programs, strengthen partnerships, support our voluters, and collaborate with the Board to drive the vision and impact of our organisation.

In this role, you will work closely with the Program Manager – NSW South Coast to support schools, communities, and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students. Together, you will deliver culturally safe and empowering mentoring programs that guide students through their transition from primary to high school and beyond. Your leadership will be instrumental in shaping meaningful educational and personal outcomes for the next generation of First Nations leaders.

Key Responsibilities

Lead strategic planning, operations, and the delivery of impactful mentoring and rugby programs.

Manage a passionate team and support cultural safety and program excellence.

Build strong partnerships with communities, schools, sponsors, and government.

Drive funding and sponsorship efforts to support program sustainability and growth.

Ensure financial and operational compliance and reporting under the NIAA grant.

About You

Identified Role: You must be Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander (as per NSW Anti-Discrimination Act 1977, Section 14[d]).

A culturally connected and experienced leader in sport, education, or community development.

Skilled in relationship-building, program delivery, and leading people.

Financially literate with strong operational and project management capabilities.

Ready to travel, represent, and advocate for LMRDT Inc. across the state and beyond.
