The Position

The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) is responsible for overseeing all financial activities including budgeting, forecasting and strategic financial planning. They will ensure the financial stability and success of the Company by managing cash flow, analysing financial data and providing strategic guidance to the Company Directors.

Responsibilities

Lead the company’s financial planning and strategy to ensure sustainable growth

Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management

Develop and implement financial policies and risk management strategies

Collaborate with company directors to drive decision-making and optimize performance

Ensure compliance with financial regulations and reporting standards

Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing finance team

Lead a remote administration team in Goulburn and Braidwood

Identify and implement opportunities to improve financial efficiency and performance

Experience, Knowledge and Skills

Tertiary qualifications in finance, accounting, economics, or business

Proven leadership skills, including the ability to manage teams and influence others

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with key stakeholders

Strong financial acumen, including proven expertise in financial reporting, budgeting and forecasting

Proficiency in analysing complex financial data, identifying issues and developing solutions

Knowledge of regulatory compliance and risk management standards

Understanding of financial systems, software and technology relevant to the finance function
