About the role

We are seeking an experienced Internal Accountant to join our dynamic team at Bake Group in Richlands, Queensland. As a full-time role, you will be responsible for supporting the overall financial accounting and reporting functions of the organisation.

What you'll be doing

Preparing and analysing financial statements, including balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and cash flow statements

Maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations

Assisting with the month-end and year-end close process

Reconciling bank and general ledger accounts

Providing support for the budget and forecasting process

Participating in the implementation of new accounting systems and processes

Liaising with internal stakeholders to provide financial information and insights

What we're looking for

Tertiary qualification in Accounting or a related field

Minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar financial accounting role

Strong understanding of financial accounting principles, practices, and regulations

Proficient in the use of accounting software and spreadsheet applications

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy

Effective communication and interpersonal skills
