About the Role:

This is a pivotal role based in Eight Mile Plains, working closely with the Group Accounting Manager and Senior Financial Accountant. You’ll play a key role in ensuring financial integrity and delivering timely, accurate reporting across the organisation.

Key responsibilities include:

• Preparing annual statutory financial statements and reports

• Leading the preparation of BAS, FBT, ABS, and WorkCover returns

• Performing and reviewing general ledger reconciliations

• Maintaining and enhancing accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls

• Ensuring data accuracy across finance systems (Carelink, TechOne)

What You’ll Bring

• Experience in a similar accounting/finance role, with strong technical accounting skills and an analytical mindset

• Advanced Excel skills; experience with TechOne is highly desirable

• Clear and confident communication skills, including the ability to engage with non-financial stakeholders

• Strong time management skills and the ability to manage competing deadlines

• A proactive, team-oriented attitude with a focus on continuous improvement

Mandatory Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting or Commerce

• Current NDIS Worker Screening Clearance – or willingness to obtain

• Current Blue Card – or willingness to obtain

• Completion of the NDIS Worker Orientation Module
