The Bank is a community focused pub, located in the busy restaurant strip of Koornang Rd, Carnegie. Opened in December 2021, the building went through a significant renovation, restoring the 1930s bank building, as well as building a brand new kitchen, bars and large outdoor areas.

Since opening, the venue has continued to grow in revenue and transactions, as well as its standing within the area, and popularity. Over the last 12 months service has become significantly busier, and we are looking for a full-time duty manager to join our team, and help us continue to grow whilst developing their hospitality career.

Candidates will be required to have polished service skills and product knowledge, and experience in a similar role or supervisor/team leader role will be looked upon favourably, however is not necessary.

As a duty manger your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

Running shifts, managing different departments and a team of staff.

Ensuring budgets and KPIs are met, specifically with key costs such as labour and COGs.

Opening and closing the venue, including cashing up and reporting.

Responding to and assisting with function enquiries, walkthroughs and the running of events.

Assisting the Venue Manager and Assistant Venue Manager with a variety of admin tasks required for the venues operation.

In this position you will receive training (if required) in all of the above, as well as:

Rostering to a costed budget.

Ordering and stock control.

Menu building, including costing and reporting on sales trends and performance.

The role is a full-time salaried position.
