About the role

As a Warehouse Manager at Amcor Flexibles (Australia) Pty Ltd, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the warehouse, ensuring the efficient and effective management of inventory, resources, and personnel. This full-time role is based in Moorabbin, Victoria, and plays a crucial part in supporting the company's manufacturing and distribution operations.

What you'll be doing

Manage and coordinate all warehouse activities, including receiving, storage, picking, packing, and shipping of goods

Oversee the implementation of best practices and procedures to optimise warehouse efficiency and productivity

Develop and maintain effective inventory management systems to ensure accurate stock levels and timely fulfilment of customer orders

Lead, motivate, and develop a team of warehouse staff, providing guidance, training, and performance management

Collaborate with other departments, such as production and logistics, to ensure seamless integration and coordination of supply chain activities

Continuously monitor and analyse warehouse performance metrics, and implement improvements to enhance overall operations

Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations within the warehouse environment

What we're looking for

Significant experience (5+ years) as a Warehouse Manager or in a similar leadership role within the warehousing, storage, and distribution industry

Demonstrated expertise in inventory management, warehouse operations, and supply chain logistics

Strong organisational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines

Proficiency in using warehouse management software and data analysis tools

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively lead and motivate a team

Familiarity with occupational health and safety regulations and best practices in the warehousing environment

A relevant degree or certification in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field would be an advantage
