The Role

As our Shift Supervisor, you’ll play a hands-on role in leading service and supporting the team during busy shifts. You’ll be someone who leads by example – calm, organised, and great with people. This is the perfect opportunity for someone with leadership experience who’s ready to take the next step in their hospitality career.

What You’ll Be Doing

Oversee and support the team during service to ensure smooth, efficient operations

Lead floor service and host during busy periods

Communicate clearly with both front and back of house teams

Handle any customer issues or feedback with professionalism and care

Support with daily tasks like opening, closing, and setting the tone for the shift

Help train and guide newer team members

Maintain high standards of cleanliness, presentation, and service

What We’re Looking For

Experience in a café or restaurant setting, ideally in a leadership or supervisor role

Confident, friendly, and assertive when needed – you know how to take charge without ego

Strong communication and organisational skills

Someone who genuinely enjoys hospitality and creating great guest experiences

Available for weekend and night shifts

Familiarity with systems like Tanda, Opentable, and Kounta is a bonus, but not essential

What We Offer

Full-time role – 5 days a week, including weekends and some nights

$70,000 salary
