About the role

As a Bistro and Bar Attendant at Railway Hotel in Cowra, NSW, you will play a key role in providing excellent customer service and delivering an exceptional dining and drinking experience for our guests. This full-time position will see you working within our vibrant bistro and bar, ensuring the smooth operation of all front-of-house activities. This role will be a mixture of day and night hours over weekday and weekends.

What you'll be doing

Greeting and welcoming customers in a friendly and professional manner

Taking food and beverage orders, providing recommendations, and processing payments efficiently

Preparing and serving a range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to our customers

Maintaining a clean, organised and well-stocked bar and bistro area

Supporting the wider team in any tasks required to ensure a seamless customer experience

Adhering to all relevant health, safety and licensing regulations

What we're looking for

Previous experience in a similar customer service or hospitality role, preferably within a bar or restaurant environment

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with customers and work well within a team

Excellent attention to detail and the capacity to work efficiently under pressure

A passion for providing outstanding customer service and a commitment to exceeding guest expectations

Familiarity with cash handling and point-of-sale systems

A current RSA and RCG is essential
